Hi Year 9 Geographers,

You can have today (Wednesday) and Friday period 5 to complete your piece of of work planning a holiday around France

You need to get to the real detail now: start planning activities and giving detailed information on the local area and spend a little less time on planning (cost, travel etc)

Remember that each person in the pair will get the same mark, so plan who does what effectively

Maybe do a mind-map at the start to plan how the work will get done?

Year 9 Development work

Class 9C1 PAN period 5 Friday 23rd September

Instructions for the lesson:
-Complete the table from last lesson researching the development indicators for the seven countries (e.g. Life expectancy, Infant mortality...)
-Using Microsoft word, produce a 400 word report comparing the development of any two countries.
Choose two contrasting countries, perhaps and MEDC and an LEDC and write a report about the level of development
-Include images, tables and charts

Year 7, 8 and 9 Geography work

This is the research project work for ALL Years 7, 8 and 9 Geography students:

Use the websites below to produce a DESCRIPTION of the recent extreme weather, and then try and EXPLAIN why it has been so cold. Use photographs, facts, maps, diagrams and anything else that you can think of. Try and compare this cold period to other winters.
